Steven Silverman is a marketing strategist and analyst with more than 30 years of experience. As a consultant, he guides organizations like Microsoft and Amazon on marketing and strategy issues across corporate roles and industries. Today, he works for Revel Consulting in Seattle where he guides executives on current and future business opportunities. Before starting his own firm, he worked at Microsoft, where he held management positions in online services product strategy, search product management, and market research
He holds a Ph.D. in marketing from the University of Pittsburgh, and an MBA in marketing and a B.A. in psychology and communications, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Silverman also holds a certificate in online teaching from the Online Learning Consortium.
