Stergios B. Fotopoulos

PH.D.

Stergios B. Fotopoulos, a professor in the Department of Finance and Management Science, received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in mathematical statistics and applied stochastic processes from the University of Liverpool (U.K.). He has served in research and teaching capacities at universities in the U.S., U.K., and Greece. His teaching experience is primarily in business statistics, regression analysis, ANOVA, and applied stochastic processes. Dr. Fotopoulos has served as editor and associate editor for multiple academic journals within his field.

Dr. Fotopoulos’s research interests are in stochastic processes, applied probability, stable processes, probability and statistics under dependence structures, and change-point analysis. His research has been published in numerous journals, and he has been an invited speaker for more than 30 major conferences.
