Jenny Kim

PH.D.

Dr. Kim is a professor and Craig Schafer Fellow in the School of Hospitality Business Management. She teaches service operations management and travel and society and business and serves as the coordinator and advisor of the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality. Dr. Kim focuses her research in the areas of service marketing and management and HR, including service quality, customer post-purchase behavior, branding strategies, burnout/engagement, coping styles, emotional intelligence, and emotional labor. Her research has appeared in International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, and Service Industries Journal. She is the co-executive editor of the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Education. She is a multiple-time recipient of the Dean’s Excellence Award.
