Byron Marlowe, Ph.D., is a clinical assistant professor in the School of Hospitality Business Management at Washington State University Tri-Cities. He received his Ph.D. with a concentration in hospitality management from Iowa State University. Prior to coming to WSU Dr. Marlowe was the hospitality and tourism coordinator and senior instructor in the School of Business at Southern Oregon University. Dr. Marlowe is developing his own academic literature on wine hospitality and tourism as a researcher.
Prior to working in academia, he was an executive in the tourism publishing business and began his career in food and beverage operations after graduating from the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management at Northern Arizona University.
