WSU Celebrates MBA Milestone, 2018 Accolades

The Washington State University Carson College of Business Graduate Programs awarded their first degree in 1957, and we are proud to celebrate our 60th anniversary of excellence in business education. In the past six decades, we have seen our community of business alumni grown into a vast network of more than 30,000 accomplished professionals in more than 90 countries.

As we prepare to honor our 61st year of graduate alumni, we look forward to continuing our commitment to preparing students to address global business challenges. That dedication isn’t just an ideal for our educators—it has also led to the Carson College of Business being recognized as one of the top schools in the nation for online Master of Business Administration programs.

For 2018, U.S. News & World Report has ranked WSU among the top 5% of “Best Online MBA Programs” at #12, and #8 for “Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans.” This makes the Carson College of Business home to the top-ranked online MBA in the Pacific Northwest.

These accolades are a testament to our graduates who are applying their business skills in different organizations around the world, as well as to our faculty and staff who strive for innovation in their approach to delivering quality online curriculum and student services.

“At Washington State University, a land-grant university, online education allows us to deliver on the foundation of our mission: making lives better through education and doing so beyond our geographic bounds,” says Cheryl Oliver, Carson College assistant dean of online and graduate programs.
