Strengthen your international business knowledge in some of Chile’s leading cities.

Santiago

Chile’s most dynamic city offers a lively restaurant scene, contemporary galleries and museums, an energy that will make you want to dance, and mountains that can be seen for miles.

It’s also a primary hub for corporate headquarters. You’ll have an exclusive opportunity to tour these companies:

  • Codelco
  • Arauco
  • UDD Ventures
  • Carozzi
  • LATAM
  • Start-Up Chile
  • Zyght
  • ASOEX
  • B&M Maritime Agency

Valparaiso

Often referred to as “Jewel of the Pacific,” Valparaiso is Chile’s main port. It’s known for the old, attention-grabbing elevators that ascend the 40 hills lining the harbor. Immerse yourself in the historical alleys, balconies, huge staircases, and passageways. This is a city you won’t want to leave.

Viña del Mar

As Chile’s fourth largest city, Viña del Mar is known by many as “The Garden City.” It is characterized by white sandy beaches, historical buildings, and large botanical gardens.

Be sure to schedule a stop at Jardín Botánico or Parque del Salitre to appreciate the well-tended gardens that make this city proud.

Casablanca

Home to Chile’s most popular vineyards, here you can learn the ins and outs of the winery industry. Experience the charm and tradition of Matetic Vineyard and Casas del Bosque Vineyard while sampling a selection of their best wines.

Imagine what you’ll learn as one of WSU's first online MBA students to travel to South America.
